Resilience for companies
Raising resilient kids is a workplace benefit.
Working parents carry the stress of their children's worries into the workday. Dr. Owen's Be Amazing! Raising Resilient Children program gives them evidence-based skills to help their kids thrive. Workshops are delivered live by a clinical psychologist who treats anxious, angry, and overwhelmed kids every week.

Why resilience?
Resilience protects kids against depression and anxiety, counteracts the effects of stress, bolsters positive brain development, and increases well-being. By instilling these values young and practicing skills with children, parents can feel confident they are equipping their kids to thrive, and employers get calmer, more present parents on their teams.
How it works
Model. Practice. Encourage.
The program is built around the pillars of resilience and a simple framework parents can remember on a hard day.
Model
Kids learn resilience by watching the adults around them handle hard things. Parents learn to narrate their own coping out loud.
Practice
Skills stick when they're rehearsed in calm moments, not invented in a crisis. Role plays and scripts make the practice easy.
Encourage
The right kind of praise, limits that work, and moments of connection that make kids feel capable and safe.

Hearing how you would approach examples really helped me understand how to implement in real life situations.
It was a very well thought out and executed program. The sessions flew by and were never stagnant or boring.
I felt like you truly valued my situation and you wanted to help us parent our kids.
Thank you for taking the time to share your wisdom and these wonderful skills with parents. You are doing so much good in the world by just distributing this helpful knowledge.
Loved it, would happily do it again and again to sharpen the skills and knowledge!
